Hello From the 2007-08 State Officer Team
After a week spent together at CTSO training in Breckenridge, there is no way one could bottle our excitement for this DECA year. As a team it was evident that our passion lies in developing DECA and continuing the support of Project Mercy. Our mission statement for the year depicts this passion which is to provide a place and a purpose for each individual member and to maintain a "sharp edge" as a DECA state officer. For those of you who are unaware of what a "sharp edge" means, it is an acronym created by this year's team:
Supportive, Honest, Aware of Actions, Respectful, Positive Attitude, Enthusiastic, Determined, Group Effort and Energetic
As your state officer team, we ask for your support to achieve this mission by holding us accountable and by fully participating in our events. We hope that your chapters will be attending our first official event together as a state, the DECA Dash on October 7th. Be on the look out for information from your District Vice President. Please do not hesitate to contact our team with any questions. We are here to serve you.
